A day for washing? (WS7 weather report 26-1-2018)

If you want to put out some washing to dry then today would be a good day to attempt it as the day looks set to be generally dry with only light winds.  To confirm my thoughts the barometer reading, at 06:30 hours, was rising rapidly.

The risk of any rain during daylight hours is less than 20%.

It will be a mild day with a top temperature of around 8c. Overnight the minimum temperature will be around the 4c mark.

The day will, however, feel more pleasant than of late due to some bright spells breaking through a fragmented cloud base and light wind speeds.

Our average wind speed today will only be around 5mph.  The win will start the day off from the NW before settling at a SW derivation later in the day.

Tomorrow does not look too “promising” with a very high risk of some rain showers.

Summary: An often mild and bright day with only a very low risk of rain.

Observations made on 26/1/2018 at 06:30 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.
Temperature : 3.9c; Air pressure : 1014.2 mb rising rapidly; Relative humidity 92%; Wind : 2 mph SW; Rain this month : 52.2mm; Rain this year : 52.2mm
