It was a proper Spring like morning when I made my observations at 06:30 hours (approximately) this morning.
The sun was shining brightly from a lightly cloud covered sky but the grass frost reminded that it was still cool outside – beautiful!
The air temperature, when we make our morning commute to work, will probably only be around 2-3c but the day will warm up to a top temperature of around 8-9c. Overnight tonight the minimum temperature, due to increasing cloud cover, will be around 3c. Today, during daylight hours, will be a dry day will only a 12% risk of rain mid evening.
The surface air pressure will reduce slightly from nearly 1033mb to around 1022mb by the end of the day. This change in pressure will help increase the wind speed a little this afternoon. The average wind speed this morning will be around 2-3mph and this will increase to around 8mph as the day passes.
Summary: A frosty start to the day but with bright spells and remaining dry.
