At the time of my observations (approximately 06:30 hours) the rain radar images were showing that our area was just catching the southern tip of a large rain cloud system.
This system will continue to bring a 80% risk of some rain throughout the morning commute.
It will be a generally cloudy during the daylight hours but by 11:00 hours the risk of measurable rain (might still see the odd spell of light drizzle) will have reduced to around 15%. Our top temperature today will be around 10c and overnight the minimum temperature, due to partly fragmented cloud cover, will be around 5-6c.
Today’s breeze will, again, bring cool air with it from the NW first thing this morning before moving anticlockwise towards the W. The average wind speed will be around 4-5mph.
Summary: A dull and drizzly start to the day. Becoming generally dry from mid morning onward.
