Rosie’s birthday weather (WS7 weather report 26-4-2018)

smalllogoToday is the coolest start to a day we have had for 12 days.  The air temperature of 6c we encounter today (at 06:30 hours) is really not too bad when we compare it to the last two years when the air temperature was around a chilly 1.7c at the same time of day.

Today will be a partly cloudy day with a small risk of rain showers.  The risk of any rain is around 36%.  The greatest risk is around mid afternoon although there are one or two small rain clouds moving through our area this morning.  These may bring some very localised and short-lived spells of light rain.

Our top temperature today will be 13c and overnight the low will be around 6c.  Tomorrow will see some widespread rain moving in to our area.

Today’s breeze will be deriving from the W-WSW and the average wind speed will be around 7mph.

Finally, I would like to wish my youngest daughter, Rosie, a very happy birthday.  She will be spending her day walking and grooming dogs so she could not be happier.

Summary:Some bright spells and a 36% risk of the odd light shower.
