Only seven days ago we were rejoicing in some lovely warm weather and a top temperature of around 23c. Today we will not be so lucky as our top temperature will only be around 9-10c. Overnight will also be cool with the minimum temperature a mere 5-6c.
This morning the radar shows that we are on the norther edge of a rain cloud system that is 90% likely to bring us some light rain up to around late morning / lunchtime. This afternoon sees a further risk of showers, particularly around mid to late afternoon, but the risk reduces to around 60%. It will, however, remain cloudy throughout the day.
Today’s wind will be deriving from a cool NNW to NNE arc. The average wind speed will be around 5mph.
Tomorrow should see a slightly improved picture with a generally dry day although it will still be cool (top temperature around 8-9c) and cloudy.
Summary: Light showers this morning. Remaining cloudy and cool throughout the day.
