The jet stream continues to run above the UK at the moment and this means that we are set for some fine weather in our area for today and, in fact, over the next few days.
Like yesterday we can expect a top temperature today of around 21c and overnight the minimum will be around 10c.
It will be generally bright for much of the daylight hours but we will see the cloud bed “close in” a little late afternoon / early evening. This will, however, only increase the risk of rain to a mere 6%.
Today’s breeze will be a mere whisper at around 4mph. The breeze will be deriving from predominantly the SSE.
Like yesterday the downfall (if there can be such a thing on a sunny day) is that the UV index is high (so sun cream will be required if you are outside for long periods of time) and the pollen count is moderate to high.
Summary: Another predominantly sunny day with a top temperature of around 21c.
