A warm welcome (WS7 weather report 22-5-2018)

smalllogoToday sees a warm welcome to the day with the air temperature already having reached 11.5c by 06:15 hours.

The synoptic charts are also showing that the air pressure will increase slightly during the day meaning we are se for another generally fine dry day.  The risk of any rain in our area today is less than 8%.

We will see some fragmented cloud cover during the day but this will not prevent our top temperature reaching around the 21c mark.  Overnight will also remain mild with the temperature reaching a low of around 9c.

The wind will spend the day deriving from the cool N-NE.  The average wind speed will increase as the morning passes (and as the air pressure changes) peaking, by mid afternoon, at around 6-8mph.

Today’s UV index is, once again, high.  The pollen count will be moderate to high.
