Some rain today? (WS7 weather report 16-6-2018)

smalllogoToday starts off a little cloudy and the rain radar images show that some measurable rain is likely in our area this morning.  The most likely time for rain is around 08:30 – 09:00 hours.

The risk of rain at this time is of the morning is around 70%.  This first band of rain will have cleared our area by approximately 10:00 hours.  A further risk of rain (sunny shower) does, however, “spring up” mid afternoon (55% risk).

It will be a generally mild day and this afternoon some bright interludes will help warm the top temperature up to around 18-19c.  It will also remain mild and dry overnight with a minimum of around 12c.

Today’s breeze will be deriving from the SW and the average wind speed will be around 5mph.

Summary: A cloudy morning bringing an early risk of rain.  Clearing later to leave a dry and occasionally bright afternoon.  A mild and dry night.
