Cool clothing required (WS7 weather report 25-6-2018)

The synoptic charts clearly show that there is a block of high pressure above our area which means two things for us today.  Firstly, the risk of any rain is less than 2% and secondly, we are going to receive a day of bright sunshine.  It is certainly a day for cool clothing today.

Today’s top temperature will be around 26-28c.  There will also be very little cloud cover.  Overnight / late tonight some thin cloud could form and this will help keep our overnight top temperature up at around 16c.

Today’s breeze will be very light and from the NW.  The average wind speed will be around 4mph.

If you are a hay fever sufferer unfortunately the pollen count will be very high.  If you are working or spending any time outside then it is important that you cover up as the UV index will be at 8 (this is very high and is about as high we get in the UK).

Summary: Wall to wall sunshine and warm.
