26.4c yesterday what about today? (WS7 weather report 28-6-2018)

The day starts off with a full cloud cover but, as the morning passes, this cloud will burn away to leave us with another bright and warm day.

We can expect the top air temperature to reach around 26c which will be very similar to the 26.4c we reached around 17:30 hours yesterday.  Overnight the minimum air temperature will be around 13c.

High surface air pressure will remain in our area for the weekend and well into next week.  There will possibly be some rain on the south coast this weekend but the high air pressure block is likely to prevent this reaching our area. The risk of any rain in our area today is only around 2%.

Today’s breeze will be light and deriving from the NE-ENE.  The average wind speed will be around 5mph.  As the day passes there will be a slight change in the air pressure and this could lead to a slight increase in the wind speed.

Today’s pollen count remains very high.

Summary: An overcast start but developing into another bright and warm day.
