The air pressure will rise steadily today and will settle at around 1024mb by the end of the day. This increase, along with the radar and satellite images, clearly show that we are set for another dry and warm day.
Yesterday the thermometer topped out at 30.4c around 18:00 hours. Over the first five days of the month our average top temperature is 27.24c.
Today will probably add a few decimal digits to the monthly average top temperature as we will reach around 28c late in the afternoon. Overnight will also remain very warm with a minimum temperature of around 16c-17c. Last night’s minimum temperature was 14.5c at 05:06 hours.
The satellite images are also suggesting that there will be some thin cloud around at times today but this cloud will not increase the risk of rain beyond less than 7%.
Today’s breeze will be light (around 5mph) and deriving from the NNW.
Summary: Some occasional light cloud but still a very warm and dry day.
