Pelsall Carnival and Cars In The Park Weather (WS7 weather report 7-7-2018)

Today (and tomorrow) sees the annual Lichfield cars in the park event.  Across in Pelsall in the annual carnival.  Both events are worth a visit as both support local charities.  If you are a car buff then tomorrow also sees the Willenhall transport show.

During the afternoon today there is also the small event of a World Cup quarter-final over in Russia.  The temperature at the match venue in Samara today will be around 26c with some cloud.

In our area we will see the thermometer also reach around the 26-28c mark.  There will be some cloud later in the afternoon but the risk of any rain today is our area is only around 3%.

It will be very warm overnight with a top temperature of around 16-17c.

There will be a slight NNW breeze blowing today but the average wind speed will only be around 5-6mph.

If we look ahead the air temperature is likely to reduce a little during mid-week before returning to the mid 20s by next weekend.  The chance of any precipitation over the next seven days is around 30%.

Summary: A warm day with an increasing amount of cloud later in the afternoon.
