Some respite from the heat (WS7 weather report 10-7-2018)

There is some cloud around this morning and the air temperature (at 06:20 hours) was only 14.6c which was the lowest morning reading for a week.  Some respite at last from the extreme heat!

The cloud cover will be around either fully or in part for the majority of the day and, along with the NE-NNE breeze, will help maintain our maximum air temperature to a slightly lower level than of late.  Our top temperature today will be around 22-23c.   Overnight will see a minimum temperature of around 14c.

The precipitation forecasts show that the risk of any rain in our area today is only around 10%.

Today’s breeze will be deriving from the cool NE-NNE and the average wind speed will be around 5mph.  The next couple of days will see some similarly cooler weather than of late before increasing again slightly at the weekend.

The pollen count is, once again, hight today.

Summary: An often cloudy day but still mild.
