Up for the cup weather (WS7 weather report 11-7-2018)


It is a slightly cooler start to the day, than of late, with the air temperature at 06:30 hours a mere 12.5c.  This is the coolest start to the day we have had since the 4 July.  Overnight the minimum temperature was 11.9c.

Today will see some bright spells mixed in with partial cloud cover.  Our top temperature will reach 23c.  Overnight the minimum temperature will be a little warmer than last night at around 14c.

The precipitation forecasts do show some rain cloud forming over our area early evening but the risk of rain from this system is only around 12%.

Today’s breeze will be deriving from the NNE and the average wind speed will be around 4mph.

Finally, it cannot go unnoticed that England play in a World Cup semi final tonight.  The air temperature at kick off time (21:00 hours local time) in Moscow will be around 21c.

Summary: A mild day with some bright spells. A low (12%) risk of rain early evening.
