Hammerwich Hall Fete and Dog Show Weather(WS7 weather report 14-7-2018)

Yesterday, for the first day since the 16 June, we received some real, measurable, rain.  Around 8mm fell in our area yesterday which, I am sure, was welcomed by all gardeners.

Today sees a return to fine and bright weather with a top temperature of around 25c. Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 15c.  The risk of any rain today will be around 7%.  Looking at the synoptic charts it is unlikely that we will have to wait too long before we see some more rain this month  The charts suggest that there is a good chance of some further precipitation on Monday.

Today’s breeze will be generally light (5mph) and deriving from the WSW.

Today’s fine weather is good news for all those holding events today.  These include my own local event at Hammerwich Hall.  The residents are providing, amongst others, a dog show, classic cars and stalls-a-plenty.

Today also sees the second day of the popular Lichfield Fuse Festival.  In the Black Country there are many events taking place across the region to celebrate Black Country day.

Summary: An often bright and warm day.
