Air pressure decreasing (WS7 weather report 20-7-2018)

smalllogoThis morning’s observations see a slow decrease in the air pressure.  The barometer will be reading around 1013mb by around 18:00 hours.  This slight reduction is due to a low pressure system pushing into our area from the north.

There will be some precipitation in many areas to the north of us and our greatest risk of rain is late afternoon / early evening.  The risk of rain for us is around 53%.

It will be another mild day with some bright spells breaking through an often cloudy sky.  The top temperature today will be around 23-24c and overnight the minimum air temperature will be around 15c.  The maximum air temperature achieved on the 20th last year was a mild 19.6c whilst in 2016 we reached 27.9c at around 15:30 hours.

Today’s breeze will be deriving from the N-NNW and the average wind speed will be around 4mph.

Summary : Some bright spells but often cloudy too.  A mild day with a risk of some rain late afternoon /early evening.
