Out and about weather (WS7 weather report 21-7-2018)

smalllogoThere are plenty of local events that require some good weather today and, I believe, that the weather gods will deliver some for them.  it is definitely out and about weather.

Today will be partly cloudy but the air temperature will still rise to a top thermometer reading of around 25c.  When the cloud cover is at its most dense it could feel quite humid.  Overnight will be a little warmer than last night with the minimum temperature only reducing to around 14-15c.  Last night’s minimum was 12.7c just after day break.

Yesterday we did see the odd smattering of rain but it is unlikely to be repeated today.  The risk of any rain today is ony around 8% this morning.  This afternoon, as the air pressure rises, the risk of rain will reduce to around 5%

Today’s breeze will be generally deriving from the WNW-NW.  The average wind speed will be around 3mph.

Events to consider visiting today are:-

The Brier Fair (Brierley Hill) or Buffery Summer In the Park.  Both events are part of the Black Country festival.

The Vintage Funfair and firework display in Beacon park.

Barton Under Needwood Steam rally.
