It is another showery start to the day although the early rain this morning has only accumulated 0.6mm. The rain radar images show that most of the rain cloud will miss our area but we still have, up to, a 60% risk of some further showers before the end of play. So far this period of rainy weather (yesterday and today) has deposited around 9mm.
Overnight and during tomorrow a high pressure front (of around 1016mb) will begin pushing northwards bringing less inclement weather to our area over the next few days. The weekend should see some fine and warm spells.
Today’s top temperature will be around 22-23c and overnight we will see the thermometer reach a mild minimum of around 14c.
Today’s breeze will be delivered from a SSE-WSW arc and the average wind speed will be around 4-5mph.
Summary : A partly cloudy day with the risk of some showers. Remaining mild.
