As I wrote these observations at approximately 06:21 hours steady moderate rain was falling in our area at a rate of around 2mm per hour. By 06:30 hours 3.4mm had been deposited in our area.
In total our rainfall this month will be around 41% the expected leve for the month.
The radar images show that the rain cloud will be generally clear our area by about 07:30 hours and completely clear by about 09:00 hours. The remainder of the day has a rain risk of no greater than 10%.
Our top temperature will be around 23c and overnight the low will be around 14c.
It will be a partly cloudy day but the surface air pressure will increase due to a high pressure system moving into our area from the south. By midnight we can expect the barometer to be reading around 1018mb.
Due to the rapid increase in air pressure it will become a little breezy during the afternoon. The SW breeze will have an average wind sped of around 10mph and gusts speeds could be around 20mph.
