Bank Holiday Sunday Weather (WS7 weather report 26-8-2018)

It is a very overcast start to the day with he air temperature, once again, falling below 10c overnight.  (9.4c at 00:50 hours).

The day will remain on the cooler side with  the top temperature only around 15c.  Overnight the minimum temperature will be 12c.

The synoptic charts are showing that there is a low pressure system that will move from W to E across our area today.  The rain radar show that this low pressure depression will bring a high risk of widespread rain to our area from around 08:30 hours until mid afternoon.  The risk of some rain today is 98%.

Today’s breeze will be mainly deriving from the SSE and the average wind speed will be around 8-9mph.

Don’t forget that the Lichfield Food festival is still operating today and tomorrow.  I popped along yesterday and, although very busy, the atmosphere, colours and smells were well worth the effort.  I have attached a few images from my visit below for you to look at.
