Another red sky morning. (WS7 weather report 14-9-2018)

For the second morning in succession a beautiful “red sky” welcomed the new day. The red for warning sign has a little more relevance today as there is a risk of some light rain showing on the radar images and the air pressure was reducing slowly.

The risk of rain in our area today is around 30-35% with the first “risk” reaching our area around 10:30 hours.  A second band of rain cloud will then pass through our area during mid afternoon.  In both instances the rain cloud may simply blow by.  Any rainfall would only be light.

We will see plenty of brighter spells today and our top temperature will reach around 17c.  With a clear sky the temperature overnight will reduce to around 10-11c.

Today’s breeze will be deriving from the SW and the SW and the average wind speed will be around 6mph.

The outlook for the weekend continues to be bright and dry.

Summary for today : A bright day with a 30% risk of some sunny showers.
