T20 finals day weather. (WS7 weather report 15-9-2018)

It was a very bright start to the day. Although the air temperature dipped down to 10.2c overnight this was still a couple of degrees warmer than the same day last year. An early morning temperature of around 10c is, however, pretty typical for this time of the year.

Today will see a generally dry day which is good news for all of you that are heading to Edgbaston for the T20 cricket.  The top temperature will be around 18c but you may need either a coat or fleece by the time of the final.  The temperature at 21:00 hours will be around 14c.

The rain radar show that the biggest risk of rain is to the north of our area although we will see a small rain cloud pass through at around 10:30 hours.  This will bring a 15% risk of some light rain / drizzle to our area.

Today’s breeze will be deriving from the SW and the average wind speed will be around 4-5mph.

Summary for today : A generally dry and occasionally bright day.
