Firstly, can I apologise for not presenting my usual weather blog yesterday, however, I was a little too ‘under the weather’ to be able to sit and write. I am happy to say that I am well on the mend today.
Today has started off very chilly with the air temperature, at the time of my 06:34 hours observations, a mere 3c. A true indication, if ever we needed an indication, that Autumn is with us.
It will, however, become an often bright day with only a 5% risk of any rain. Our top temperature today will be around 16c and overnight will be a little milder than today at around 8-9c.
The air pressure will remain high throughout the day. Starting off at around 1037.8mb it will reduce slightly to around 1032mb. This slight air pressure change means that there will be a moderate breeze generated. The average wind speed will be around 6mph. The wind will be deriving from the SSW.
Summary for today : A cool start but becoming bright and warmer.
