It was certainly a cooler start to the day today.  At 04:00 hours the air temperature was a more 2c and by 09:00 we had warmed up to a scorching 5.6c!

The good news is, for all of you that are going to attend the Chasewater Light Railway Coal Train Weekend, is that the day will remain dry.  We only have a 8% risk of rain in our area today.   Yesterday saw us break the 400mm mark of rain for the year.

Our top temperature today will be around 13c and overnight, with the wind shifting from the N towards the W the overnight temperature will be around 8-9c.

Today’s breeze will start off from the N but as the day passes we will see an anticlockwise movement towards the W,  This will be signalled by a slight increase in cloud cover.  The average wind speed today will be around 5mph.

Summary for today : A cool start but remaining dry.  A good day for walking or riding out.
