After yesterday’s cool start today sees the return of the familiar mild morning. The air temperature at 06:30 hours today (around 10c) was very similar to those we have experienced over the last two years.
Today see high pressure established over our area although if you travel towards the north of the UK low air pressure systems will be bringing some rain. In our area we are set for a dry day with some broken cloud. The risk of rain in our area is only 8%.
Today’s top temperature will be around 15-16c (again typical over the last few years) and overnight the minimum temperature will be 10c. The GFS ensemble is suggesting that we should see some mild temperatures on the 10-12 October with a warm day (in excess of 20c) around the 14th. Time will tell!
Today’s breeze will be deriving from the SW and the average wind speed will be around 6mph.
