The synoptic charts clearly show that, during the day, a system of high pressure will be pushing into our area which, in turn, will bring a period of dry weather to our area.

This morning will see us start of cloudy with possibly a bit of light mist in more rural parts but as the day develops some brighter spells will break through. These periods of sunshine will help our top temperature to rise to a maximum of around 15c. Overnight the minimum temperature will be a little cooler than of late at around 8c. Today’s day and overnight temperatures are consistent with those we enjoyed the previous two years.
Today’s breeze will be deriving firstly from the SW before moving clockwise towards the NW as the day passes. The average wind speed today will be around 5mph.
