Coolest since the 10th (WS7 weather report 18-10-2018)

It is a little cooler this morning due to a cool but light NW-NE breeze. The air temperature at 06:32 hours was 7.8c.  This is the coolest start to the day since the 10th.  Compared to the same day and time over the last two years it is approximately 2c cooler.

It will be a dry day with some bright spells.  The cool breeze will, however, keep the top temperature from rising too much beyond 13c. The air pressure will remain high throughout the day which, in turn, means the risk is low.  Today’s risk of any rain, during daylight hours, is only around 6%.

The wind will start the day deriving from the NW and as the day passes the derivation will slowly move clockwise to end the day from a more ENE /E direction.  The average wind speed will be around 5-6mph.  This E wind direction usually brings with it a cool feeling breeze.  Tonight’s overnight temperature will be around 8c.

Next week continues to look if it will be generally dry.

Summary for today : Some bright spells but feeling cool in the shade.
