After yesterday’s very cold start to the day (with minus figures being recorded at the time of my observations) well today started off, at approximately 07:15 hours, at a very mild 3.3c! It is all relative!
The day will warm up to around a maximum of 6-7c and the overnight minimum will not reduce far from this figure. The overnight low will be around 5c.
It will be a generally cloudy day but the risk of rain will not exceed 18%. There will be some light rain falling in the mid Wales / Shropshire area this morning but this system is unlikely to reach our area. The air pressure will reduce slowly as the day passes eventually settling at around 1012mb.
Today’s breeze will be light at around 6mph and it will be deriving from the E-ENE.
The weekend looks as if it will remain mild (around 7c) and the risk of any rain is only around 10%.
