Boxing Day Weather 2018 (WS7 weather report 26-12-2018)

smalllogoIt was a very mild start to Boxing day with the air temperature, at approximately 08:30 hours, already at 8.8c.  This is the warmest start to a Boxing day morning since 2011 when the air temperature was around 11c at a similar time.

It has, in fact, remained mild throughout the night with the minimum air temperature being 8.5c at 02:18 hours.

If you are planning a walk today then you can do so with little fear of any rain.  Despite it being cloudy or partly cloudy for most of the day the risk of rain is only 9%.

Our top temperature today will be around 9c and overnight the minimum temperature will reduce to around 6c.

Today’s breeze will be bringing with it warm air (and help form clouds) from the SSW-SW.  The average wind speed will be a very gentle 4mph.

Overall today will be a great day for walking or cycling off those excesses!
