A day for a walk in the park (WS7 weather report 5-1-2019)

It is another cool but not extremely cold start to the day.  At 08:00 hours the air temperature was 2.7c.  Back in 2013 the air temperature, at a similar time of the day, was a balmy 9.5c!

The maximum air temperature will be around 5c and overnight the minimum temperature will be around 3-4c.

Generally it will be an overcast day with the cloud density increasing as the afternoon passes.  This cloud will, however, not bring a greater than 8% risk of any rain today.  The air pressure will, once again, remain high.  The synoptic charts suggest that high air pressure will remain with us through the next working week although it will become breezy as the points of similar pressure become more closely spaced.

Today’s breeze will be deriving from the WSW and the average wind speed will be around 4-5mph.

Overall today is a good day for stretching your legs with a walk in the park or a ride on your bike.

Summary : A cool but not extremely cold start to the day. Remaining dry but often cloudy.
