It was quite exciting seeing some rain yesterday morning and there is a 55% chance that we will see some drizzle this morning. This is due to a small system of light rain cloud passing near our area from Stoke and the NW.
It will be an often breezy day as the air pressure continues to change. The average wind speed will be around 12mph. The wind will be deriving from the WSW. At 12mph the “feel” of the air temperature will be about 4c lower than the thermometer is reading (using the Steadmann method of calculation).
We will, however, see some bright spells develop during the day.
Today’s top temperature will be around 11c which is higher than average for this time of year (average around 7c). The overnight minimum temperature will be around 5-6c which, again is above average for the time of year (average around 2c).
Summary : A breezy start with early cloud and a risk of some light rain / drizzle. Becoming mild and brighter later.
