Back to cool? (WS7 weather report 27-1-2019)

smalllogoAfter a very breezy and, at times, rainy early morning the air pressure is now (09:30 hours) beginning to increase towards 1004mb by the end of the day.

As this air pressure increase takes place there will still be some breeze generated but the spacing between the points of similar will broaden thus reducing the gust speeds.

It will be a cool day as the wind is deriving from a generally NW-NNW direction.  The average wind speed will be around 15mph.  This will make our top temperature of around 4c feel more like 0c.  If you are going for a walk or cycle today then you will need to wrap up warm.

During the day we will, however, see some bright spells develop and these, at least will brighten up the “picture”.

The risk of rain after 10:00 hours is only around 20%.

Summary : A breezy and cold day with some brighter spells developing.
