WS7 weather report for Hammerwich, Burntwood, Brownhills, Lichfield and Walsall areas.

We are set for a nice and often bright and sunny day with a top temperature of 17-18c and only a -1c windchill.

The wind will be deriving from the S-SW which will be bringing with it warm air. This may be problematic in a few days time as the warm air catches other weather fronts but for today enjoy the sun.

The wind will be light and have an average wind speed of only 5-7mph.

Today’s air quality is good on the cusp of moderate whilst pollen from the Ash tree is rated as moderate 3/5. All other pollen forms are low.

A word of warning. Some telephone weather apps are showing snow next week. Firstly, this is too far away to predict with greater than 35-40% accuracy and secondly, there is very little evidence to currently support this information.
