Weather and air quality forecast for the Burntwood, Brownhills, Lichfield And Walsall areas. 10 April 2021.

Today is going to be a generally cloudy day with outbreaks of precipitation.

The first major rain fall will be around 11:15hours and it is also quite visible on the current radar images. Much can change, however, in a couple of hours.

The high grounds of Derbyshire and Staffordshire are likely to receive something of a wintry mix as we will do as the afternoon and evening passes. Showers of whatever kind are a risk in our area today.

Our top temperature will be around 5c -8c and the overnight low around 0c.

The wind will be deriving from the cool NE and will have an average speed of around 6-8mph. this level of wind speed will create a wind chill of -2 to -3 on the actual air temperature i.e 5c feels like 2c.

Today’s air quality is good and the pollen count is low.
