It is a cold and in parts frosty start to the day but with a high pressure system of around 1030-1032mb it will remain dry and, for the greater part of the daylight hours, bright.
The risk of any rain in our area today is less than 10%.
Our top temperature will be around 11-13c and the winds will be extremely light (around 2-5mph). This means we will be getting more or less “full value” from the actual air temperature.
The wind will be deriving mainly from the ESE.
Due to the low wind speed the overall air quality will be moderate and the pollen count will be moderate to high. The pollen count is particularly made higher by the pollen from the Birch tree.
