It is a very cloudy start to the day but dry. The winds are light and, therefore, we will be getting nearer “full value” from the actual air temperature.

Our top temperature will be around 10-12c which is slightly below the average for this time of year (around 15c).

What has been noticeable this month is the lack of April showers. Normally we would receive around 60mm by the end of the month.

Moving back to today.

Today will be a mostly dry day with localised, mostly light, showers during the afternoon and evening. The first rain clouds will reach our area around noon.

The wind will be light at around 5mph. The wind direction will vary from the SSW to the N/NE.

With the low air movement the air pollutant levels will be low to moderate but the pollen count will be moderate.
