
There has been a slight movement in the jet stream position and if viewed (see image below) you will note an inverse omega shape has developed. This will allow the northern climate dominate.
Overall this situation will lead to an occasional bright and sunny day through an often cloudy sky. We will also see some localised showers in our area. Some of the showers could be heavy.
Our top temperature will be around 12-14c but the wind chill will reduce the “feel” by about 2c.
Today’s breeze will derive from the SSW with an average speed of 8-10mph and gust speeds of around 30mph.
Pollutant and pollen counts are both low today.
